The Baby Room is set in a warm and peaceful environment. Which is like home from home. With a separate sleep room attached.
The Baby Room is spacious allowing children to play and interact.
Toys are left out encouraging children to have free choice and to join in the set activities within the days session. Children are encouraged to express themselves through different activities, e.g. sand, water, play dough, paint and gloop. We have cots and beds set out in The Baby Room, this allows the children to have sleeps as and when they require.
Staff members are always around to help with physical needs, changing, feeding and all of their emotional well being to help children feel secure and settled.
The Tweenie Room is a large bright room which is colourful with many displays of the children’s work.
The room is designed to allow children to play freely, explore and express their needs.
We have free flow access to our secure outdoor area.
The main areas in the room are: Messy, creative, mark making, water, sand, heuristic play, carpet literacy area, snug and carpet area for reading.
The children have both free play and planned activities. They also use the garden throughout the day.
In this room children are encouraged with toilet training by staff.
The Pre-School children have their own separate building which helps us to promote school readiness. Letters and sounds activities are implemented everyday by our early years professional and fully qualified primary school teacher.
This room has many areas which children have access to.
There is a dedicated literacy room where children listen to stories and take part in speaking and listening activities. This room is also used for quiet times and small group intervention work. The teachers and early years practitioners encourage the children to prepare for school life by promoting self confidence, self help skills, good looking and good listening skills. We work closely with our local schools and pride ourselves in our transition process. Children are always ready for school once they leave for Reception class. We offer Nursery Education Funding where a child can claim up to 15 hours per week, term time only.
We also offer 30 hours of government funding for those eligible families.
We accept childcare vouchers, cheques and cash.
